Elina Shchervinsky, AIA, LEED AP is a licensed Architect in New Jersey with over 25 years of professional experience. Her diverse career includes the design and construction of schools, medical buildings, residential homes, industrial facilities, parking garages, airports, municipal buildings, warehouses, retail spaces, laboratories, restaurants, transportation projects, corporate facilities, and mixed-use buildings.
These work scopes include new construction, additions, renovation, and remediation. Ms. Shchervinsky’s architectural career spans every job description from designer and specification writer to project manager. She has the hands-on experience to provide technical investigations, analysis, and expert reports toward the resolution of code compliance, construction claims, project delivery methods and professional liability matters.
Ms. Shchervinsky is highly experienced in all aspects of building design and evaluation for both residential and commercial projects. Her many areas of expertise in technical investigations, forensic analyses and reports include construction defects, material failures, building code non-compliance, architectural standard of care, errors and omissions, building planning, accessibility, and premises safety.
Ms. Shchervinsky frequently attends continuing education courses to stay informed with emerging code requirements, design practices, and product development subjects such as building envelope efficiency, fire separation requirements, sound attenuation, and masonry construction. Her technical experience enables her to be hands-on throughout all phases of projects. This approach provides her with a thorough review of the design prior to construction by giving her a greater understanding of potential problems and solutions that may arise during the repair and design process.
Ms. Shchervinsky attended Pratt Institute where she received a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1997. She is a Registered Architect and a licensed Real Estate Sales Agent in New Jersey. She is a local and national member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) as well as a LEED Accredited Professional with the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).
